New online tournament FISSURE Universe: Episode 2 announced

FISSURE announced the online tournament FISSURE Universe: Episode 2, which will start on May 27. 8 invited teams from Western and Eastern Europe, as well as one team from South America and MENA will take part in the championship. The prize fund will be 80 thousand dollars.

Representatives of the organization commented on the upcoming championship and shared their thoughts about looking forward to the upcoming matches.

We are pleased to announce an online tournament with teams from Europe and CIS, which will be joined by BOOM Esports from South America. The new patch in Dota 2 has made significant changes to the heroes and we are looking forward to see what strats the teams will develop. Expect some exciting matches before the main events of the year

Tournament Format:

Group Stage: May 27 - 28

• two groups of four teams with a modified GSL system;
• all matches in Bo3 format;
• two best teams in each group qualify for the playoffs.

Playoffs: May 29 - 30

• two-loss elimination bracket;
• all Bo3 matches;
• Bo5 grand final.
