BLAST Slam III: full list of participants revealed

The organizers of BLAST SLAM III have finalized the list of invited teams. Team Spirit and BetBoom Team will represent Eastern Europe. Western Europe will be represented by Team Liquid, Tundra Esports, Gaimin Gladiators, and PARIVISION. Team Falcons will play on behalf of the MESWA region. Aurora Gaming will represent South Asia, and Xtreme Gaming and Tidebound will represent China.

The tournament will begin with a group stage in a best-of-1 format. The ten teams will be divided into two groups of five. After that, a single-elimination playoff will follow. All matches except the grand final will be played in a best-of-3 format, while the grand final will be best-of-5.

In the previous BLAST SLAM II, which took place in February, Tundra Esports won the title by defeating Gaimin Gladiators in the grand final. Notably, Tundra’s roster has changed since then: Anton dyrachyo Shkredov left the team and was replaced by Remco Crystallis Arets.

BLAST Slam III will be held online from May 5 to May 11, 2025. Ten teams will compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000, of which $750,000 will go to the players and $250,000 to the organizations.
