Bio

Jean Pierre  'Chris Luck' Gonzales Salazar is a Peruvian professional Dota 2 player also known as "C. smile <" and plays on the second position. His record for the most kills in a professional match on one map is 26 - a record he set playing Lina in one of his matches against EgoBoys.

Chris Luck began his professional career in March 2018 when he joined the Gorillaz-Pride team, where he played for about a year. During this time, he managed to win several local tournaments, but he was unable to achieve high results. Then, Chris Luck spent about two weeks with the Pacific Esports team, where he met Hector 'K1' Antonio Rodriguez and Adrian 'Wisper' Céspedes Dobles. After qualifying for OGA Dota PIT Minor 2019, he signed with the Majestic Esports organization. At his first international tournament, Jean-Pierre and his team took fourth place.

A month later, the organization decided to leave the esports scene, and Chris Luck joined Team Anvorgesa with K1 and Wisper. The most significant achievement for the Peruvian player with this tag was qualifying for StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 2, where the club took fourth place. Before the start of The International 2019, Chris Luck became part of Infamous - the team signed a new roster to qualify for the main tournament of 2019. Jean-Pierre showed high-level play, which allowed the team to qualify for the event, where Infamous finished in a respectable 7th-8th place.

Chris Luck and his team made a name for themselves in the esports world, which led to this lineup joining beastcoast. Under a new tag, the Peruvian player managed to take first place at ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Online, participate in MDL Chengdu Major, DreamLeague Season 13: The Leipzig Major, WePlay AniMajor, The International 2021, ESL One Stockholm 2022, and PGL Dota 2 Major Arlington 2022, as well as be part of one of the strongest teams in the South American region.
