TORONTOTOKYO can leave Spirit and assemble a new team, sources

Alexander ‘TORONTOTOKYO‘ Khertek is thinking about leaving Team Spirit. This was reported to Escorenews by sources close to The International 2021 champions.

It is noted that the esportsman plans to assemble a new team, which supposedly should include Egor ‘Nightfall‘ Grigorenko (Evil Geniuses) and Vitalie ‘Save-‘ Melnic (Virtus.pro). So far, neither EG nor VP have made any announcements about the departure of Nightfall and Save-, respectively. Only Roman RAMZES666 Kushnarev left the Russian team at the moment.

One of the reasons for TORONTOTOKYO’s possible departure from Spirit is the team’s disastrous performance at TI11. The Russians reached the playoffs, but lost to BOOM Esports in the first match of the lower bracket, finishing at 13-16th place at the main Dota 2 tournament.
