Nisha unexpectedly leaves Team Secret

World of stars

Team Secret said goodbye to their star mid laner Michal ‘Nisha‘ Jankowski. Information about this appeared on the official page of Dota 2 vice world champions on Twitter.

This news shocked many fans of the game, as at the recent The International 2022, the European team showed an excellent game and reached the grand final, where they lost to Tundra Esports. Representatives of Secret did not disclose the reason for Nisha’s departure, however, from the words of team captain Clement ‘Puppey‘ Ivanov, we can conclude that the 22-year-old Polish esportsman made such a decision on his own.

«What can I say about my boy Nisha… We played together for many years, shared many laughs, travelled the world and won a bunch of tournaments. I cherish our time together and completely understand his decision to move on and see more of the world. I wish him all the best,» Puppey said.

Nisha joined Secret as an 18-year-old prodigy in September 2018. He was well-known at the pro-scene, although before that he played for some tier-2 and tier-3 teams. Michal Jankowski helped Secret become one of the strongest in the Dota Pro Circuit and is considered one of the best mid-laners in the world.

Together with the team, the Polish esportsman became the winner of three Majors and got into the top four three more times. In 2020, Nisha and company went on impressive run, winning eight tournaments in a row.

In addition, he helped the team improve their performance at The International: after finishing 5th-6th at TI8 and recruiting Jankowski, Secret finished fourth at TI9, third at TI10, and finally second at TI11.

Now the squad of The International 2022 vice-champions is as follows:
