Riyadh Masters Dota 2 2022: groups and format revealed

Nigma Galaxy, OG, Royal Never Give Up, Team Liquid and TSM will play in Group A at Riyadh Masters 2022, which will be held from July 20 to 24 in Saudi Arabia. The other quintet consists of Deboosters, PSG.LGD, Team Secret, Team Spirit and Tundra Esports. This was reported on the tournament page on Liquipedia.

The winners of the groups will advance to the semifinals of the playoffs, the second and third places will qualify for quarterfinals, while the remaining teams will leave the competition. The matches at this stage will be played in the bo2 (best-of-2) format, while playoff games will be played in the bo3 (best-of-3) format.

The total prize fund of the Riyadh Masters will be 15 million dollars. This tournament will feature such eSports disciplines as Rocket League, Fortnite, Rainbow Six Siege and PUBG Mobile. 10 Dota 2 teams, in turn, will play for $4 million. $1.5 million will go to the winner.
