The Neon League organizers share their proof of match fixing by Hydra

Tournaments

The organizers of the Neon League announced the disqualification of HYDRA from the tournament and indicated the carry of the Kyrgyz organization Kyialbek ‘dream’‘ Tayirov as the main suspect in foul play and match fixing.

In their appeal, the organizers analyzed in detail four key points, which, in their opinion, prove the justification of the accusations against the team from the second division of Dota Pro Circuit.

Episode 1: the second death of Morphling

It would seem that several heroes ran out to the player, squeezed him in an unfortunate situation and he died. However, everything is not so simple here. Note that Dream sees every enemy movements on wards. He sees the rotation of DP (a huge DP that won the mid-lane) to the bot, <..> Snapfire is on the bottom lane, he knows Tiny is nearby.

Every player who watched this video asked a logical question: «Why didn’t he just press the Scroll of Teleportation to another area of the map immediately after he got attacked by Tiny?» In the team voice chat (which, unfortunately, we do not have the right to make public), the player on Morphling does not instruct the team to fight on the bottom lane, even having information about these movements. There is nothing unusual about death itself, except for using Wave Form towards the enemy instead of trying to retreat.

Episode 2: the third death of a player

This moment caused the most questions and suspicions in general from everyone. The guys tried to fight on the top lane, failed to kill Treant Protector and decided to flee. Their opponents pressed three key buttons with which they were able to kill two supports.

That is, the usual game moment when a not entirely successful attack happens. However, the proccess of getting out of this fight raises a large number of questions. In the voice chat of the team at this point there was a call to get out of this fight.

Note that Morphling does not use Wave Form to get away from the fight, but simply runs towards his tower. However, the most questionable thing is that dream’ stopped for more than a second and a half, shifting objects and pressing the Magic Stick (in subsequent game moments, he did such actions from two to three times faster). When he ran again, you can see that he noticed the chase and still didn’t press Wave Form, after which he was struck with Eul scepter of Divinity and died.

dream` is an experienced Morphling player, which calls into question such a strange and stupid death.

Episode 3: the fourth death of dream`

IVY players under the ward can be seen in the triangle, Death Prophet comes out to push the wave of creeps on the mid lane and the information from this zone disappears. Tiny, before dissapearing, was moving in an incomprehensible direction. The enemy Luna with overfarm and an Aegis of Immortal moves bot lane towards the T2 tower.

It’s pretty obvious that right at this moment, the enemy team is pressing Smoke of Deceit and running to occupy the Radiant team’s jungle, which was even briefly mentioned in the team’s voice chat. An additional clue is a courier that just hovered under the ward in a triangle (you can see the white dot on the map).

Despite having all this information, HYDRA’s carry remains in the jungle, and then comes under attack from Tiny and Snapfire, after which he goes to the «tavern».

Episode 4: Morphling’s last death without ransom in the game

As I was informed, Morphling had ~160 gold left before the buyout, the opponents’ positions were clear and visible, finishing off a few creeps is not problematic. However, a call for a fight comes at this right moment.

At this point, both the lack of a buyback money and Morphling’s position are questionable. The hero is quite mobile and can enter the fight from a long distance. However, the character gets into a rather dangerous position, in which he has a chance to die after one random action (at this moment the enemy DP has Hex). The only way to save the situation is Tusk with Blink Dagger, but he spent his Blink and got into position next to Morphling, i.e. it is not possible to pull the latter out of focus in any way.

Next comes Tiny’s attack on Morphling. The latter is simply not allowed out of the camp. There is no buyback which helps IVY to break the HYDRA’s ancient.

Belarusian esportsman Vladislav ‘Petushara‘ Kozlovsky left a comment after watching the video published by the organizers:

«I don’t see anything suspicious in this. I think if this is all the evidence the organizers have, then they are unfounded. But earlier I heard that the HYDRA tag was involved in 322 matches. I’m talking about the squad which consisted of the Kyrgyz esportsmen,” said Petushara.
