DPC 2022/23: all teams from Western Europe have finalized their rosters

Tournaments

On the evening of December 9, all participants of Dota Pro Circuit 2022/23 from Western Europe approved their rosters. Many esports players changed teams this off-season, so CyberScore decided to collect all the information about transfers in one place.

Tundra Esports, Team Secret, Team Liquid, OG, Entity Gaming, Gaimin Gladiators, Nigma Galaxy and Exit B will start the DPC winter tour in the first division.

Tundra quite predictably decided to keep the squad that brought them victory at The International 2022. Its roster is as follows:

  • Oliver ‘Skiter‘ Lepko;
  • Neta ‘33‘ Shapira;
  • Leon ‘Nine‘ Kirilin;
  • Jingjun ‘Sneyking‘ Wu;
  • Martin ‘Saksa‘ Sazdov.

Secret, runners-up at TI11, were forced to invite ex-Gladiators player Miroslav ‘BOOM‘ Bican after Michal ‘Nisha‘ Jankowski unexpectedly left the roster. In the new season, the team will be represented by the following esportsmen:

Former Liquid carry Lasse ‘MATUMBAMAN‘ Urpalainen announced that he would end his career after The International 2022 even before the start of the tournament, so the organization’s management has been looking for a replacement for him for a long time. The choice was made in favor of Nisha, who accepted the offer of the Swedish team and will now become the new mid-laner of Liquid. In turn, miCKe, who played in this position last season, will return to the role of a carry. The reshuffle also took place in the coaching department Jesse ‘JerAx‘ Vainikka left this position as he lost interest in Dota 2, and William ‘Blitz‘ Lee took his place. The composition of the Swedish team is as follows:

  • Mike ‘miCKe‘ Wu;
  • Michal ‘Nisha‘ Jankowski;
  • Ludwig ‘zai‘ Wahlberg;
  • Samuel ‘Boxi‘ Swan;
  • Aiden ‘iNSaNiA‘ Sarkoi.

OG said goodbye to Ammar ‘ATF‘ Assaf and invited the ex-offlaner of Virtus.pro Dmitry ‘DM‘ Dorokhin. The roster of the European team looks like this:

  • Artem ‘Yuragi‘ Golubev;
  • Bozhidar ‘bzm‘ Bogdanov;
  • Dmitry ‘DM‘ Dorokhin;
  • Tommy ‘Taiga‘ Le;
  • Mikhail ‘Misha‘ Agatov.

Entity has also made only one replacement. Ivan Pure Moskalenko left the team, joining BetBoom, and now watson, who previously represented HellRaisers, will play the role of a carry. The Entity roster includes:

Gladiators have signed Quinn instead of BOOM, who left the team to join Secret. Previously, he played for Soniqs in the North American region. The Gladiators roster is as follows:

  • Anton ‘dyrachyo‘ Shkredov;
  • Quinn ‘Quinn‘ Callahan;
  • Marcus ‘Ace‘ Helgard;
  • Melchior ‘Seleri‘ Hillenkamp;
  • Eric ‘tOfu‘ Engel.

Nigma Galaxy, which returned to the elite thanks to the victory in the DPC 2021/22 Tour 3, also did not make major lineup changes. Amer ‘Miracle-‘ al-Barkawi took a break from his career to deal with health problems, and ATF replaced him. In the next season of Dota Pro Circuit Nigma will be represented by:

  • Ammar ‘ATF‘ Assaf;
  • Said Sumail ‘SumaiL‘ Hassan;
  • Ivan ‘MinD_ContRoL‘ Borislavov;
  • Maroun ‘GH‘ Merhej;
  • Kuro ‘KuroKy‘ Salehi Takhasomi.

Another newcomer to the first division is Exit B. Its roster includes former Into The Breach players, as well as Immersion. The Russian replaced Matthew ‘Ari‘ Walker, who moved to TSM. The complete Exit B roster looks like this:

As for the second division, it is worth noting that Alliance has unveiled its fully updated squad. The three former Goonsquad players were joined by two esports players from Southeast Asia. Alliance roster for the upcoming DPC season:

  • Charlie ‘Charlie‘ Arat;
  • Ki ‘CHYuan‘ Chuan Eng;
  • Gustav ‘s4‘ Magnusson;
  • Remus ‘Ponlo‘ Guo Zhi Xian;
  • Simon ‘Handsken‘ Haag.

As CyberScore reported, Virtus.pro completely revamped their roster ahead of the start of Dota Pro Circuit 2022/23.
